Michigan Medicine seeks a dynamic, distinguished physician executive to serve as the inaugural Associate Chief Clinical Officer for the new Troy Medical Campus which is scheduled to open in 2027. The ACCO will Champion the Troy Medical Campus as a distinct, community-integrated care model with limited learners, community-based productivity standards, and rapid patient access as defining features. This new and expanding ambulatory care medical campus will include advanced adult specialty care programs and integrated diagnostic and procedural services in a state-of-the-art setting.
Job Responsibility
Provide enterprise clinical leadership across all Troy facilities, including specialty care, cardiovascular, and advanced imaging
ensure alignment with Michigan Medicine’s mission
drive a high-efficiency, patient-centered model
partner closely with the ACOO/ACNO
shape innovative, accessible models of care
provide physician oversight and direction to medical directors in areas of oncology, MSK, sports medicine, reproductive medicine, cardiovascular services, radiology, surgery and anesthesia (and expanding)
partner closely with relevant Department Chairs, Division Chiefs, and Clinical Physician Leaders to ensure faculty are well-supported, clinically engaged, and operationally successful
Requirements
MD, DO, MD/PhD, or equivalent
board certification in a relevant adult specialty
active clinical practice must align with the specialties offered at the Troy Medical Campus
experience in a fast-paced and complex health care environment
demonstrated success leading by influence in a matrix environment
