Job Description

We are looking for an Associate Commercial Manager to join our journey to develop our grocery vertical in Vilnius, Lithuania. The Associate Commercial Manager will be responsible for following our product assortment strategy, sourcing the exact quantity at the best possible price while ensuring we maximize consumer experience, while constantly growing our revenue and increasing our suppliers engagement and sales.

Job Responsibility

  • Market Research & Strategic Planning: Conduct market research and store visits to analyze trends, competitor products, and pricing
  • identify opportunities and contribute to joint business plans with key CPG companies
  • Supplier Relations & Negotiations: Engage in regular supplier reviews and negotiations, managing contracts, pricing, promotional activities, shelf space, and marketing support to maximize profitability
  • Commercial Operations & Analysis: Lead trade space allocation, inventory monitoring, and sales forecast alignment
  • present commercial analyses and recommendations during MBRs to optimize category performance
  • Promotional Strategy Execution: Implement and analyze consumer-focused promotional plans
  • collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Commercial teams to source and execute offers smoothly
  • Administrative & Cross-Functional Support: Provide administrative assistance for assortment management, promotions, and growth tools
  • partner with teams to align on content strategy and support business objectives

Requirements

  • Educational Background & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in commercial domains, e-commerce, or brick-and-mortar retail
  • Negotiation & Analytical Skills: Strong negotiation abilities with excellent analytical skills, including experience working with data (e.g. Nielsen data) to interpret and present insights for informed decision-making
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with excellent organizational skills
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Strong team management skills and effective communication for stakeholder collaboration across cross-functional teams
  • Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial principles with the ability to analyze profitability and sales data effectively
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Lithuanian
