Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional for the role of Associate Business Analyst. This role involves driving value creation through systemic thinking, strong business knowledge, and delivering change to banking environments. Responsibilities include stakeholder management, requirement gathering and analysis, managing project implementations, and ensuring strategic alignment in decision-making.

Job Responsibility:

  • Demonstrate strong business knowledge and sound business sense, and stay abreast of the industry, business-wise and technology-wise
  • gather requirements and agree designs across business stakeholders
  • shape business requirements and solution designs
  • identify and define issues or problems that are less obvious
  • devise and evaluate systemic solutions
  • articulate or translate complex information into clear and structured formats
  • build effective working relationships with analysis and design teams
  • define requirements management processes and solutions based on business needs
  • manage the traceability of requirements through design and delivery
  • develop high-level business cases, considering investments and benefits
  • manage change implementation activities
  • reengineer processes as part of broader change initiatives
  • allocate tasks and objectives to project teams
  • support project resourcing activities

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of Global Change Delivery Business Transformation Frameworks and best practice techniques
  • a thorough understanding of the purpose, values, culture and fundamentals of Global Change Delivery
  • outstanding understanding of HSBC Group structures, processes and objectives
  • very strong knowledge of the external environment –regulatory, political, competitors etc.
  • basic Business reengineering knowledge
  • business analysis, requirements gathering and design techniques
  • change management and implementation management techniques and approaches
  • advanced project management skills, including project planning, resource management, risk management, and stakeholder management
  • proficiency in project management tools and techniques
  • familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and project management frameworks (e.g., PMBOK)
