Job Description

Bridge Specialty Group is seeking an Associate Broker to join our growing team in Metairie, LA! The primary duties of this role is the analysis of market research information and in the sale of renewal of business. Develops and utilizes creative strategies based on analysis to produce new and renewal business. This position does not drive for business.

  • Work with Broker, ensuring that all required information is obtained, proper applications are completed, quotes and binders are confirmed in writing, policies are issued promptly and accurately, state filings (where applicable) are made, and taxes paid
  • Successfully markets and provides solutions for new and renewal business revenue from existing clients
  • Discusses business needs and proposes company products and services for existing clients
  • Retains knowledge of all markets available to maximize opportunities to negotiate placements
  • Services the designated book of business as it relates to marketing, administration, and sales
  • Monitors, identifies, and develops new methods for processes and procedures
  • Maintains compliance with Quality Control guidelines

Requirements

  • An active state insurance license
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) or more years of successful insurance experience

  • Train and guide processors and assistants, reviewing submissions for accuracy and completeness, and developing their brokering skills while reducing clerical workload
