Job Description

Dynamic leadership role focusing on customer service and operational management at QC Supply's Willmar, MN branch. The position involves engaging with customers, maintaining day-to-day operations, fostering customer partnerships, and ensuring top-notch customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, agriculture-focused distribution environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with Branch Manager to execute day-to-day processes and operations
  • Support walk-in customers in the showroom
  • Pick, pack and ship orders
  • Ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time
  • Be a critical point of contact for customer service-related matters
  • Drive process improvement initiatives
  • Monitor inbound and outbound order product flow
  • Dispatch and issue sales order picklists for processing and shipment
  • Coordinate deliveries and monitor customer satisfaction
  • Aid in collection and reporting of key site metrics
  • Audit and track facility quality and accuracy
  • Assist with inventory management, including shelving products and performing cycle counts
  • Maintain inventory levels
  • Monitor and help ensure housekeeping, policy adherence and safety standards are maintained
  • Contribute ideas for Continuous Improvement
  • Coordinate with Sales and Marketing teams to proactively manage promotional sales lifts

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of proven work experience in sales or business management
  • Strong understanding of distribution and the required routines in support
  • Ability to oversee all aspects of the location and ensure efficient distribution processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced customer driven environment
  • Understanding of market dynamics and ability to exercise sound business judgement
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Physical demands: stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear
