Job Description

Join us as an Associate Banker within our London Real Estate team, where you will support Relationship Directors and Managers in delivering an excellent service to some of the Bank’s largest and most complex clients. You will play a key role in strengthening client relationships, maintaining a clear client focus, and identifying opportunities for growth. Working closely with product and specialist teams, you will support the delivery of tailored financial solutions aligned to client needs. Operating within a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you will contribute to effective portfolio management, support client strategies and annual reviews, and assist in attracting new business into the Large Corporate franchise. Alongside your client-facing responsibilities, you will maintain a focus on risk and control, ensuring activities are delivered accurately and in line with regulatory expectations. This role offers an opportunity to build expertise in real estate banking while developing your commercial understanding and stakeholder network.

Requirements

  • a clear client focus, with the ability to understand client needs and deliver a high-quality experience
  • experience in banking, financial services or a related field, with a good understanding of financial products
  • sound business acumen, with the ability to interpret financial information and identify growth opportunities
  • effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with awareness of risk, controls and corporate banking operations

Nice to have

  • experience in real estate finance or working with real estate clients
  • knowledge of credit processes, portfolio management and client account planning
  • understanding of corporate banking products, solutions and AML risks within client portfolios
  • familiarity with digital tools and an interest in improving client experience and operational efficiency
