Job Description

Work with a nationally ranked CPA and advisory firm. Join Aprio's Client Accounting Services team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for an Associate, Back Office Solutions to join their dynamic team. Accounting Associates may or may not have work experience in public or private accounting. Individuals at this level should have a basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping. Accounting Associates will be responsible for preparation of daily work and receive guidance from designated Manager and Team Leaders.

Job Responsibility

  • Daily deposit verification
  • Invoice entry coding
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Setting up vendors
  • Data entry for credit cards
  • Assist with special projects as needed
  • Provide backup when needed
  • Contact vendors
  • Prepare 1099s
  • Process credit card payments

Requirements

  • Previous accounts payable and/or bookkeeping experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of general ledger and bill pay software is a plus
  • Experience with double entry bookkeeping encouraged
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to be flexible
  • Ability to handle more than one project/task at a time
  • Ability to learn different software and understand how they work and improve the firm in total
  • Ability to think critically
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite of products – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Etc.
