Job Description

A boutique, women-owned law firm in Chicago is seeking a newly licensed Associate Attorney to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney interested in building a career in transactional real estate law, with hands-on training and mentorship provided.

Job Responsibility

  • Support residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing
  • Attend in-person closings
  • Communicate directly with clients, agents, lenders, and other transaction parties
  • Draft and review transactional documents with partner oversight
  • Assist with related matters including estate planning and corporate formation
  • Build and maintain relationships through networking and business development efforts

Requirements

  • J.D. and active Illinois bar license, or pending admission
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ambitious, outgoing, and interested in business development
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Genuine interest in transactional real estate practice
