Associate Attorney

• Represent public schools, school districts, and educators in the firm's special education and student civil rights (including Title IX) practice
• Gain experience appearing and advocating in proceedings, such as Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and Section 504 plan negotiations
• Conduct workplace investigations and witness interviews on (or virtually) school campuses
• Prepare comprehensive reports of findings as a neutral

• 1-5 years of civil litigation or public administrative law practice
• confident research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• good academic record
• interest in serving as a lawyer for public education and some charter school clients
• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the California State Bar
• 1-3+ years of practice in litigation, government, or administrative hearings law

Practice experience in disability or school law

• Monthly productivity bonuses
• Annual discretionary bonus totaling $15,000 to $40,000/yr
