Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking an Associate Attorney for a law firm in Aurora, Illinois. This job is in the legal industry and requires a professional who can handle all aspects of cases from negotiation to trial. The focus of this role will be on Workers Compensation and Personal Injury Law.

Job Responsibility:

Handle all aspects of each case from inception to conclusion, including settlement negotiations
prepare legal documents such as motions and briefs in an accurate and timely manner
conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy
take cases to trial when necessary, ensuring all processes are followed and deadlines are met
prioritize client communication, keeping them informed and involved in their case
utilize skills in Civil Litigation and Workers Compensation to effectively manage and progress cases
draft and file legal pleadings in line with court requirements and procedural rules
handle court cases professionally, advocating for clients in a court of law
develop a strong understanding of our clients' needs and objectives to represent them effectively.

Requirements:

Must hold a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
the applicant must be an active member of the state bar
the applicant must demonstrate strong skills in civil litigation
excellent client communication skills are required.
