Job Description:

An exciting, growing law firm specializing in legal malpractice and commercial litigation is seeking an associate attorney for its expanding team. The firm handles interesting litigation, is very hybrid/remote flex, and has low billables - 1650!! The firm is based on the west side with a hybrid work schedule. Experienced attorneys can negotiate remote immediately.

Job Responsibility:

  • This person will work on FINRA litigation
  • Discovery, including depositions
  • Law and motion
  • Court appearances
  • Pleadings
  • Communicating with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
  • Billable Hour Req: 1650

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in California
  • At least 5 years of experience handling civil litigation matters, must have strong FINRA litigation experience
  • Demonstrated ability to draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and other substantive legal documents
  • Hands-on experience managing discovery and participating in depositions
  • Background in complex business, commercial, or other high-exposure litigation matters
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients and legal stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid or fully remote arrangement while maintaining consistent performance
