Associate Attorney

• Conduct thorough case reviews and analyze applicable laws to provide strategic legal counsel
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including arguing law and motion matters
• Develop and execute discovery strategies, including preparing and responding to written discovery requests
• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure seamless case management and effective representation
• Maintain compliance with billable hour requirements, achieving a minimum of 1,650 hours annually
• Provide guidance on employment law matters as applicable to client cases
• Utilize case management and document management software to organize and track case progress
• Research and summarize legal matters to support case strategy and client advisement

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active member of the California State Bar
• Minimum of four years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on commercial litigation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to articulate arguments effectively
• Proven attention to detail and organizational skills in managing complex cases
• Familiarity with case management and document management software
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Knowledge of employment law is a plus
