We are looking for a skilled and experienced Associate Attorney to join our team in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This permanent, onsite role requires a detail-oriented individual with at least five years of civil litigation experience, strong legal acumen, and a dedication to delivering excellent client service. The ideal candidate will be admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced law firm environment.
Job Responsibility:
Manage a diverse range of civil litigation cases from the initial filing to trial and appeals
Draft and argue motions, conduct discovery, and handle depositions and pre-trial proceedings
Provide clients with sound legal advice on litigation strategies and potential risks
Collaborate with senior attorneys, clients, and support staff to ensure high-quality case outcomes
Effectively oversee multiple cases while adhering to deadlines and court procedures
Stay informed on changes in legal regulations and leverage technology to enhance legal processes
Exhibit strong communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills in all aspects of case management
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active membership and good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar
A minimum of five years of civil litigation experience in a law firm setting
Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of civil litigation cases independently
Proficiency in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy
Availability to work onsite, Monday through Friday, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Strong interpersonal skills, including adaptability, collaboration, and attention to detail
