We are looking for a motivated Associate Attorney to join a litigation-focused legal team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is well suited for an attorney with early-career experience who can manage casework effectively, contribute to litigation strategy, and produce high-quality written advocacy. Job Responsibility
Represent clients in civil litigation matters through all phases of case development and courtroom preparation
Prepare persuasive motions, pleadings, and other legal documents with strong attention to detail and procedural requirements
Take and defend depositions while gathering testimony that supports case strategy and factual development
Conduct legal research and analyze case law to strengthen arguments and guide litigation decisions
Collaborate with colleagues on case planning, discovery strategy, and overall matter management
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a clear and timely manner
Support hearings, negotiations, and other litigation-related proceedings as assigned
Requirements
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law and good standing with the applicable state bar
Approximately 2 to 3 years of experience handling civil litigation matters
Demonstrated ability to draft motions and other court filings independently
Practical experience preparing for and participating in depositions
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high standard of professionalism
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize competing case demands effectively
