We are looking for an Associate Attorney to join a litigation-driven practice in Colleyville, Texas, where you will take an active role in client matters and build meaningful courtroom experience. Job Responsibility
Lead client meetings, assess legal needs, and guide new matters through the intake process
Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery materials, and other legal documents required for active cases
Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings with a strong focus on effective courtroom advocacy
Oversee case progress from opening through resolution, ensuring deadlines, filings, and communications are handled accurately and on time
Maintain regular contact with clients to provide updates, explain legal strategy, and address case-related questions
Manage an individual caseload independently while coordinating with colleagues on litigation strategy and case preparation
Support matters involving family law and contribute to related work in criminal defense and estate planning when appropriate
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of legal practice experience
Active license to practice law in Texas and good standing with the state bar
Prior experience in litigation, including court appearances and contested proceedings
Familiarity with family law matters is strongly preferred
Ability to draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery documents with accuracy and clarity
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively
Strong attention to detail, accountability, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced legal environment
