Job Description:

Robert Half is supporting a client in the search for an Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have litigation experience and a passion for public service. You will represent the organization in legal proceedings, support senior attorneys, and help ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.

Job Responsibility:

Provide legal representation in litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Support hearings, mediations, and trials to represent the entity’s interests
Assist with legal research and analysis to support ongoing cases
Collaborate with senior attorneys to prepare case strategies and briefs
Advise organizational leaders on compliance with governmental regulations and legal risk mitigation
Maintain accurate records and case documentation

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in Georgia
0-3 years of litigation experience preferred, including familiarity with courtroom procedure and document drafting
Knowledge of tax appeals, labor laws, or civil procedures is a plus
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Commitment to serving the public and working collaboratively within a diverse team
