Regional law firm in San Jose, CA is seeking an Associate Attorney to support its Employment Litigation practice. Job Responsibility
Participate in all phases of employment litigation matters
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy analyses
Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery
Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams
Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas as needed
Requirements
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active California bar license required
1–3+ years of California civil litigation experience required
Experience with employment litigation matters preferred but not required
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must be willing to work a hybrid schedule in San Jose, CA
