Associate Attorney - Federal Litigation

• Develop comprehensive case strategies through detailed legal and factual analysis
• Draft high-quality pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and legal memoranda
• Conduct and defend depositions while managing discovery disputes effectively
• Represent clients in federal court, advocating for their interests with precision
• Collaborate closely with clients and co-counsel to ensure successful case outcomes
• Research and apply federal laws, including preemption and maritime litigation issues
• Address complex legal challenges such as construction disputes and transportation-related cases
• Participate in settlement negotiations and contribute to client development initiatives
• Maintain a balance between quality-focused case management and flexible work practices that emphasize attention to detail

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a preference for federal cases
• Demonstrated expertise in legal research, analysis, and drafting motions
• Strong courtroom presence and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to manage cases from initiation to resolution independently
• Licensed attorney with knowledge of civil litigation and federal law, including freight cases
• Familiarity with discovery processes and briefing procedures
• Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Experience in deposing, defending and taking depositions in state or federal court
