We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 3+ years of civil litigation experience to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Insurance Defense and is skilled in independently managing a litigation caseload from initial investigation through trial preparation. This role is fully remote, with the expectation of maintaining excellent communication, accountability, and case management. Practice Areas Include: Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA); Premises Liability; Employment Discrimination; Workplace Harassment; Catastrophic Injury
Job Responsibility:
Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and court appearances
Prepare pleadings, briefs, and legal memoranda
Develop case strategies and provide clients with clear, concise updates and guidance
Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
Attend hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex matters while maintaining autonomy on assigned cases
Meet an annual billable requirement of 1850 hours
Requirements:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active membership in the Washington State Bar (or ability to become admitted promptly)
Minimum 3 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in Insurance Defense
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high professional standards
Excellent communication and client‑service skills
Proven ability to manage deadlines and caseload efficiently
