Job Description

Oliver, Rainey & Wojtek, LLP (ORW) is seeking to recruit a positive, energetic, and exceptional staff member for our Accounting Services Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional to join our team and advance within the firm based on performance and technical knowledge. The role of the Associate in our Accounting Department is to manage a variety of accounting-related functions for about 20-30 small to medium-sized businesses.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage a variety of accounting-related functions for about 20-30 small to medium-sized businesses
  • General ledger maintenance and account reconciliations
  • Chart of Account set-up, transaction coding, and client guidance
  • Financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Payroll calculation and processing
  • Preparation and filing of quarterly and annual payroll tax returns

Requirements

  • A bachelors degree in accounting
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • The ability to be a team player
