Job Description:

As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Understanding of all products within the respiratory health portfolio and proactively identify, target, and engage new customer opportunities within the assigned territory based on the customers’ clinical and economic needs
  • Participate in creation of territory strategy on an annual basis to drive sales growth
  • Generate leads to develop a robust sales funnel and consistently move opportunities through the sales process to “close”
  • Conduct product demos and coordinate trials in collaboration with clinical team members
  • Work closely with Account Managers, Sales Directors, and Marketing to support broader territory strategies
  • Develop a deep understanding of respiratory portfolio to optimally position the value proposition
  • Travel as the need arises throughout the territory to support the business, and periodically, nationally and internationally to support projects and initiatives as needed, in order to meet or exceed sales goals

Requirements:

  • Post secondary education in related field is required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field(s) is preferred
  • Minimum two years’ experience in sales, preferably selling medical equipment and/or devices to hospitals
  • Technology proficient: familiarity with CRM system and other sales-related technology
  • Self-starter with mentality to find and close new business
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to efficiently connect with clients, colleagues, and collaborators
