Morning Brew Inc. is hiring an Associate Account Executive to support and grow our Emerging B2B advertiser portfolio, the fastest-growing segment of our B2B business growing 330% YoY. This role is ideal for a motivated seller who is insatiably hungry, relentlessly curious and seeking an opportunity to grow among a rapidly growing sales team. In this role, you’ll build and own a book of high-growth Emerging accounts and be goaled on the growth of this business. This is not a passive sales or renewals role; success comes from constant curiosity, hustle, and a genuine interest in helping clients grow their marketing impact through Morning Brew’s ecosystem. This is a full-cycle sales role, requiring 2-3 years work experience including at least 1 year in sales.
Job Responsibility:
Build and own a book of Emerging B2B advertiser accounts
Prospect into new business opportunities within and beyond your book
Retain and expand existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Run full-cycle sales motions: discovery, pitching, negotiation, closing, and renewal
Build consultative, value-driven pitches across Morning Brew’s brand and product portfolio
Learn to map buying groups and navigate brand- and agency-led relationships
Partner closely with Account Management, Creative Strategy, Pricing, and Editorial teams
Maintain accurate pipeline, pacing, and forecasting in Salesforce
Share client feedback and insights to help improve products, pitches, and processes
Participate in training, deal reviews, and coaching sessions to accelerate your growth
Requirements:
2–3+ years of work experience, including at least 1 year of sales experience
Experience in B2B, media, advertising, SaaS, or a related field
Exposure to full-cycle sales or strong experience in prospecting and deal support roles
Interest in growing accounts through thoughtful relationship-building and solution selling
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities at once
Coachable mindset with a strong desire to learn and improve
Collaborative, team-first approach to working cross-functionally
Nice to have:
Familiarity with sales tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or Outreach
Existing industry relationships
Interest in B2B marketing, digital media, or advertising
Genuine excitement for Morning Brew’s voice, audience, and growing B2B platform
