Job Description:

We’re seeking a self-starter with a strong bias to action and proven experience prospecting, pitching, closing, and growing business relationships with executive-level marketers at high-growth consumer and lifestyle brands. This individual should have a passion for digital media and the ability to proactively identify target B2C customers, tirelessly ask questions to learn about their marketing and growth needs, and build tailored recommendations based on those needs that leverage all appropriate aspects of the Morning Brew ecosystem.

Job Responsibility:

  • Hunting/Prospecting: building out target lead lists and creating custom outreach strategies
  • Value Selling/Pitching: work across consumer and lifestyle brands, ask questions and learn about prospective clients to creatively build campaigns
  • Managing a full-cycle sales pipeline from initial prospecting and qualifying to pitching and closing, and then renewing and upselling
  • Collaborating across internal teams (AM, Creative, Pricing/Packaging, Editorial) to build best-in-class media plans
  • Maintaining accurate CRM data, including customer/prospect details, pipeline activity, and forecast updates

Requirements:

  • 2–8 years of experience in a consumer/lifestyle-focused sales role
  • At least 2 years of closing experience, preferably in adtech, martech, or media
  • Experience negotiating, closing, and managing six-figure contracts with executive-level buyers and agencies
  • Ability to track, forecast, and report on key pacing and performance metrics
  • Strong familiarity with digital advertising performance metrics, audience reach and engagement data, ad pricing metrics
  • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ambitious, resilient, and driven – a self-starter
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for Morning Brew, its franchises, products, and audience strongly preferred
