As a Care Communications Associate Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to partner with the country’s top healthcare providers and leverage our clinical IT and clinical communications portfolio to enhance outcomes for patients and their caregivers. You will be responsible for selling Baxter's Care Communications product portfolio and develop strategic relationships with a variety of clinical leaders in targeted hospitals across your assigned region. This role is a proactive member of the sales team and will have you facilitate securing new business and growing existing business. You will partner with cross-portfolio sales executives to target key accounts and close system-wide, software solution sales that aim to protect patients and improve caregiver and patient satisfaction.
Job Responsibility:
Driving conversions of competitive accounts using Baxter’s established sales process
Collaborating in a matrix environment with Care Communications Executives, New Business Generation representatives, Account Executives, and others to support the sales process
Maintaining and updating all sales opportunities in CRM on a weekly basis and manage a robust sales funnel using Salesforce
Conducting product demonstrations and evaluations for Baxter technologies
Surveying customer sites to identify and develop new sales opportunities
Partnering with the CSA Team to generate proposals for MAC and similar-sized projects
Working with the Project Management Associate to transition orders for implementation and deployment
Collaborating internally to share market trends and competitive insights with marketing and management
Requirements:
1 year sales experience (experience in healthcare industry preferred)
High School diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and public speaking skills
High level of motivation, drive, curiosity, resilience, dedication, and integrity
Successful history of managing customer interactions, with excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently, demonstrating adaptability to quickly shifting priorities
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Salesforce knowledge a plus
Ability to travel 75% of the time across multiple states throughout the South/Southeast (may include weekends)
