Job Description

As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Driving conversions of competitive accounts using Baxter’s established sales process
  • Collaborating in a matrix environment with Care Communications Executives, New Business Generation representatives, Account Executives, and others to support the sales process
  • Maintaining and updating all sales opportunities in CRM on a weekly basis and manage a robust sales funnel using Salesforce
  • Conducting product demonstrations and evaluations for Baxter technologies
  • Surveying customer sites to identify and develop new sales opportunities
  • Partnering with the CSA Team to generate proposals for MAC and similar-sized projects
  • Working with the Project Management Associate to transition orders for implementation and deployment
  • Collaborating internally to share market trends and competitive insights with marketing and management

Requirements

  • 1 year sales experience (experience in healthcare industry preferred)
  • High School diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and public speaking skills
  • High level of motivation, drive, curiosity, resilience, dedication, and integrity
  • Successful history of managing customer interactions, with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating adaptability to quickly shifting priorities
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Salesforce knowledge a plus
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time across multiple states throughout the South/Southeast (may include weekends)
