A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
Chartered Engineer status, or equivalent professional registration
Significant experience in building services design within a consultancy or design environment
Strong experience in the data centre sector, ideally including hyperscale or large-scale mission critical projects
A good understanding of data centre design principles, resilience, redundancy, energy efficiency and operational performance
Experience managing engineers and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams
A proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and client expectations
Strong commercial awareness, including fee management, programme control and scope management

Job Responsibility

Assist with preparing plans and procedures for execution of the commissioning process.
Conduct commissioning activities from the design phase through the occupation phase, in accordance with client requirements and industry commissioning process best practices.
Attend factory testing of equipment and document procedures and results.
Conduct functional testing of equipment and measure results using test instrumentation.
Fully document all field procedures including results, issues and observations either via company provided templates or online applications.
Comment on equipment & system performance.
Assist with submitting and maintaining daily commissioning reports.
