Job Description

The Associate – Product Solutions, Inbound Data Capabilities will report directly to Manager - Product Solutions, Inbound Data Capabilities. They will be responsible to build scalable, robust, and sustainable products for Inbound Capabilities Team to ensure simple, timely, and efficient integration of data from external sources for all commercial products. The individual will be responsible to work with GCS Technology and other business units to support the current business priorities and goals, while powering future growth.

  • Strong Product Ownership and Analytical mindset
  • Ability to write effective user-stories and maintain healthy product backlog leveraging enterprise level scrum tools
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
  • Develop, maintain and enhance product documentation based on requirements
  • Critical thinking and ability to link business requirement to product specifications
  • Identify and document dependencies and risks
  • Monitoring development & UAT progress by tracking activity, recommending actions and escalating appropriately to leaders
  • Production support and data analysis to ensure integrity of data post implementation
  • Issue\Query management including investigation and root cause analysis.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in Product Development/Solutioning or Product Analytics role
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, other technical or business discipline highly desired
  • Ability to write clear and effective user stories in JIRA, Rally or equivalent and maintain product backlog
  • Self-starter and has strong problem-solving skills with an attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and anticipate user and customer needs with respect to data solutions
  • Good Analytical Mindset with prior experience in any Data Analytics tools like SQL, Python or Excel
  • Team player and the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, capacity to articulate complex logic concisely to a non-technical audience
  • Proven ability to quickly identify issues and/or risks as well as possible solutions and mitigation plans.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Jira, Rally or equivalent and delivering via agile methodologies and practices
  • Familiarity with project methodology (SDLC, Waterfall, Agile) and related testing methodologies and tools (Rally\Jira)
  • Good understanding of data products, scalable architecture & infrastructure
  • Analytical experience with tools like SQL, Python, Hive or Tableau etc.
  • Prior Experience in Product Management or equivalent role
  • Confident with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive innovation - articulate point of view with a rationale.
