Support commercial and contractual activities for defence programmes, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, contractual obligations, and internal governance across the contract lifecycle.
Job Responsibility:
Support contract review, bid preparation, and commercial compliance matrices
Maintain contract trackers, milestones, and payment schedules
Assist invoicing, documentation, and follow up actions to ensure timely receipt of payment
Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Program Management, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams
Prepare clear commercial summaries, trackers, and presentations for internal reviews
Represent the company to diverse customers, including Government of India defense institutions with responsibility to develop and/or maintain effective working relationships with customer counterparts
Analyze the risks, issues and opportunities of various contract terms and present them
Interpret contract requirements, manage change and resolve conflict
Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders
Good documentation, analytical, and structuring skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Detail-oriented, compliance-focused, and structured working style
Have knowledge of Defence Acquisition Procedure (DAP) and Defence Procurement Manual (DPM) of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India with specific reference to Standard Contract Document Terms & Conditions
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Law / Commerce / Management
0–2 years of experience (fresh graduates with relevant internships may be considered)
