Job Description:

Support commercial and contractual activities for defence programmes, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, contractual obligations, and internal governance across the contract lifecycle.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support contract review, bid preparation, and commercial compliance matrices
  • Maintain contract trackers, milestones, and payment schedules
  • Assist invoicing, documentation, and follow up actions to ensure timely receipt of payment
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Program Management, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams
  • Prepare clear commercial summaries, trackers, and presentations for internal reviews
  • Represent the company to diverse customers, including Government of India defense institutions with responsibility to develop and/or maintain effective working relationships with customer counterparts
  • Analyze the risks, issues and opportunities of various contract terms and present them
  • Interpret contract requirements, manage change and resolve conflict

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Good documentation, analytical, and structuring skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Detail-oriented, compliance-focused, and structured working style
  • Have knowledge of Defence Acquisition Procedure (DAP) and Defence Procurement Manual (DPM) of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India with specific reference to Standard Contract Document Terms & Conditions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Law / Commerce / Management
  • 0–2 years of experience (fresh graduates with relevant internships may be considered)
