Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager role at Sprouts Farmers Market helping customers make healthy choices by providing excellent customer service through managing and leading one of the busiest teams in the store.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit
  • Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Vitamin/HBA team
  • Effectively coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork
  • Assist in leading a team to deliver quality product, service, and customer experience
  • Ensure customers receive best possible service and assistance with vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty products
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and health and body items
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, developing, mentoring, and motivating the Vitamin team
  • Unload and sort through store deliveries
  • Ensure execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations

Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum of 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience with leadership duties
  • Acceptable combination of education and experience
  • Dependable and reliable with ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to give and take direction while maintaining a team environment
  • Perform general housekeeping in the department
