Job Description

Step into the role as Assistant Vice President, Trading & Sales Assistants (TSA) in Japan. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for including but not limited to: Trade Capture Assistance, Trade Amendments, Lifecycle Management, life cycling events and compressions; as well as general sales/trader support and Queries investigation. The candidate should preferably have a wide range of knowledge across various products specified below.

  • Provision of immediate and efficient technical support to traders and sales professionals on the trading desks, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues to ensure uninterrupted trading activities
  • Coordination of trade execution by liaising with traders, clients, and other internal teams to ensure smooth transactions
  • Maintenance and updating of trade records, transaction logs, and client databases accurately
  • Reports, presentations, and documentation preparation to support sales and trading activities
  • Monitoring of market data and assist in the analysis of financial information for trading decisions
  • Operational tasks such as processing trades, confirming orders, and resolving trade discrepancies

Requirements

  • Japanese (Fluent), English (Business)
  • Experience in Microsoft Office technologies including Excel and VBA
  • Experience of Trade Capture or Middle office is preferred, especially on Rates Derivates & Cash products
  • Experience of Project Management (e.g. system enhancement) is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, and ability to solve issues related to deal bookings or system flows
  • Organised, superior attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure. Ability to time manage
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Works well and is comfortable communicating directly with all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to develop relationships with both internal and external clients to understand and address their needs
  • Eagerness to take initiatives and promote process improvements
  • Team player, highly motivated
  • Displays confidence and professionalism
