Job Description:

Assistant Vice President role in FC Investigative Reporting focusing on financial crime investigations, money laundering detection, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Effective and timely investigation into assigned cases
Ensure investigators perform in line with instructions to identify financial crime issues
Ensure high quality investigative narrative preparation
Make review recommendations including SAR filings
Ensure interaction with relevant stakeholders
Provide information on completed investigations to Senior Management
Deliver training modules
Lead collaboration with Transaction Monitoring Operations, Fraud Operations and Name Screening

Requirements:

Universal banking experience across Retail, Commercial and Banking and Markets
Money Laundering investigations experience including understanding transaction monitoring scenarios
Familiarity and experience with transaction monitoring and associated systems and case management systems
Experience with banking core customer data management systems
Experienced in using tools to collect and analyse data from multiple sources
Experience of identifying activity indicative of financial crime risk
Experience in undertaking investigations/analysis into customer activity
Experience in writing reports
Proven high quality spoken and written communication skills
Strong organisational skills
Collaborative working style
ACAMS or International Compliance Association (ICA) certificate/diploma, or equivalent qualifications
Strong communication with good inter-personal and influencing skills

Nice to have:

Prior regulatory or law enforcement investigations experience
Prior experience within RPA or other automation projects
Proficient with Excel, VBA or Python
Certification on BluePrism (Developer) and/or other RPA platform
