Job Description:

Citi is looking for an Assistant Vice President - Loan Servicing Operations to support loan origination and lifecycle management, focusing on syndicated and bilateral loans. The role involves managing operational processes, implementing technology, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving efficiency. Successful candidates will have 5-8 years of experience in wholesale lending, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative approach.

Job Responsibility:

Support loan origination and lifecycle management
assist with process creation, standards, procedures, controls, and training
aid in the design and implementation of technology
provide training to staff and business constituents
partner with business lines, credit risk, operations, legal, etc.
ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
define and implement operational metrics and risk reviews
improve processes, controls, and efficiency in the loan lifecycle
participate in projects to enhance performance
manage loan remediation and system testing/migrations
actively manage and maintain a deal closing pipeline
coordinate and close loan transactions/lifecycle events
capture data, store documentation, troubleshoot issues, perform quality control
assess risks and escalate/report control issues.

Requirements:

5-8 years of experience
excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
ability to work well under tight deadlines and manage priorities
high proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft-based programs
familiarity with Tableau or visualization tools
experience with Loan IQ, transaction capture tools
strong attention to detail
developed analytical and problem-solving abilities
client relationship and solution skills
experience within a large global team supporting wholesale lending at a large financial institution
knowledge of wholesale loan products and business (syndicated/bilateral)
understanding of legal loan documentation, loan/funding mechanics, deal structure, fund flows
ability to collaborate with team members, senior management, and business constituents
critical decision-making capabilities
strong organizational and time management skills
knowledge of corporate and regulatory policies in lending
deep understanding of operational processes supporting wholesale lending
focus on achieving key operating standards in a metrics-driven culture
flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have:

familiarity with Tableau or visualization tools
experience with Loan IQ, transaction capture tools.
