Job Description:

Assistant Vice President role in CPSO team focused on credit monitoring, portfolio management, collateral management, transaction management, credit risk middle office, quality assurance, issues management and regulatory issue remediation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Effective Issue Resolution & Risk Mitigation by providing testing support to resolve MRAs/CAPs and SIIs across Institutional Credit Management
  • Support Portfolio Manager and Assistant Portfolio Manager in partnership and continuous engagement with applicable regional and industry stakeholders in ICM, CB, CCB, Wealth and Risk for effective issue resolution and risk mitigation
  • Implementation of best practices inline with established guidelines to drive operational consistency across Business Units
  • Ensure on-time adoption and continued improvement of the Credit Risk Process Digitalization platforms in partnership with ICM Product Development, Technology, and end users across all lines of business
  • Ensure timely completion of projects within the CPSO book of work
  • Following established governance mechanisms and controls to prevent recurrence of issues
  • Ensure ongoing feedback and coaching of Associates and Senior Analysts to sustain a strong credit culture
  • Actively participate in learning, development, and training opportunities
  • Support CPSE VoE Engagement and Belonging scores

Requirements:

  • Demonstratable financial services experience, including 6-9 years in Banking or FI Industry
  • Deep knowledge of Wholesale Credit Processes and Policies spanning the Credit Risk Value Chain
  • Sound and thorough knowledge of Citi´s systems
  • Significant experience in preparing presentations for seniors
  • Outstanding awareness and adherence to the control environment
  • Strategic orientation to ensure the team continues to be positioned as a thoughtful and proactive partner in providing effective resolutions and best practices for Risk Mitigation across Business units
  • Proven culture carrier
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and exert influence with and without direct authority
  • Strong organizational skills with ability and willingness to work under pressure and manages time and priorities effectively with little to no supervision
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to audiences of varying levels of seniority
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills

Nice to have:

  • Ability to leverage new age tools (AI/ML) to optimize processes across the ICM organization
  • Familiarity with DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) practices
  • Experience coaching Associates and Senior Analysts
