Assistant Utility Surveyor role in the Subsurface Engineering department, based in Kilcullen, County Kildare. The role involves working on a variety of high profile projects across Ireland, using cutting-edge equipment and methods to provide critical information for client decision making.
Job Responsibility:
Working with cutting-edge surveying equipment such as Total Stations, GPS and Data Collectors and using modern methods to provide critical information to assist our clients in decision making
Accurately recording underground utility data to provide to Senior Utility Surveyors for client reporting
Building and maintaining client relationships ensuring we deliver projects to exact client requirements
Assisting with detailed field and office surveying assignments
Any other duties as required by the business
Requirements:
Previous experience working within the surveying industry would be beneficial
Consideration for those with civil engineering and construction experience
Fetac QQI Level 5 qualification or higher (in accordance with the National Framework of Qualifications)
Experience in the use of electromagnetic detection and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) would be advantageous but not essential
Excellent communication skills and ability to provide feedback to clients
Possess the right to work in Ireland
Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients
Possess a full clean Irish or EU driving license
Excellent planning and organisation skills
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with team members and on own initiative
Nice to have:
Experience in the use of electromagnetic detection and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) would be advantageous
