Job Description:

Assistant Utility Surveyor role in the Subsurface Engineering department, based in Kilcullen, County Kildare. The role involves working on a variety of high profile projects across Ireland, using cutting-edge equipment and methods to provide critical information for client decision making.

Job Responsibility:

  • Working with cutting-edge surveying equipment such as Total Stations, GPS and Data Collectors and using modern methods to provide critical information to assist our clients in decision making
  • Accurately recording underground utility data to provide to Senior Utility Surveyors for client reporting
  • Building and maintaining client relationships ensuring we deliver projects to exact client requirements
  • Assisting with detailed field and office surveying assignments
  • Any other duties as required by the business

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within the surveying industry would be beneficial
  • Consideration for those with civil engineering and construction experience
  • Fetac QQI Level 5 qualification or higher (in accordance with the National Framework of Qualifications)
  • Experience in the use of electromagnetic detection and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) would be advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide feedback to clients
  • Possess the right to work in Ireland
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients
  • Possess a full clean Irish or EU driving license
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with team members and on own initiative

Nice to have:
