Handle daily operations of both the Ticket Windows, Central Reservations, and Snowsport’s Desk, hiring and training staff. Ensure that all locations are efficient and all sales/reservations are made in a professional and friendly manner. Focus on consistent quality guest service. Master all Loon Mountain’s products, services, promotions, etc., in order to provide consistent information to all guests and employees.
Job Responsibility:
Oversees the daily operation of the Ticket Department (and periodically Central Reservations Department)
In the summer run/manage daily summer season departmental operations
Master all product lines and fully understand sales processes & fulfillment details
Master the use of varied POS modules
Handle and account for all money and maintain accurate records for every employee in department
Master payroll administrative system
Participate in staff selection
Train staff on all resort products, computer systems, sales processes & fulfillment details, and guest service standards
Manage Season Pass Rollover Requests as well as oversee Season Pass Seasonal Locker Room program
Responsible for ordering and maintaining summer and winter stock inventories as well as overseeing the security of those inventories
Answer phone calls, emails, and messages
solve problems for guests and relay messages
Answer general e-mail inquiries directed generally from the web sites
Contribute to team effort by participating in Job Sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees
Directly supervise sales staff at Snowsports Desks, Central Reservations and Ticket Office mainly
Carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training staff
planning, assigning, and directing work
appraising performance
rewarding and disciplining staff members
addressing complaints and resolving problems
Requirements:
Associates degree
or twelve months related experience and/or training
or equivalent combination of education and experience
