Job Description

The primary purpose of this role is to support the Members models from a financial perspective, Oversee and monitor credit facilities and assist and support the Transactional Finance Team Leader in all areas of the business. Reporting into the Transactional Team lead, with your key relationships being with the ticketing support team, Envoyage Suppliers, Agents, external & internal stakeholders and our offshore team.

Job Responsibility

  • Participate in System upgrade, Project testing & migration
  • Participate Ad-hoc projects to continually improve the team processes and controls
  • Perform Financial & operational analysis to support the business
  • Investigation & implementation of processes, policies, and technology
  • Assist with the Half Year and Full Year Audit
  • Month end close and preparation of financial reporting requirements
  • Training new staff members
  • Support BSP reconciliations
  • Support Debtor & Creditor weekly reporting
  • Support Bank reconciliations
  • Assist with EOFY activities
  • Tracking and reporting of team KPIs
  • Back up on RCTI commission payments to advisors
  • PTR reporting to Treasury
  • Identify risks and ways to mitigate potential risks to the business
  • Bank approvals and payment gate approvals

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Accounting and Finance (within the Travel Industry highly regarded)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Exceptional time-management & organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Methodical and able to follow procedures consistently
  • Great attitude and helpful approach
  • Ability to use initiative appropriately
