Job Description:

The Assistant Store Manager plays a key role in leading store teams to achieve company standards, leading by example, embracing entrepreneurial spirit, and inspiring teams through passion and belief in the Calvin Klein brand. The role is part of PVH, a global apparel company with over 30,000 associates operating in over 40 countries.

Job Responsibility:

Lead store teams to generate sales, profit, minimize losses, and create the best possible customer experience
Ensure store is visually distinctive and impeccably maintained
Identify opportunities to grow business and improve performance through collaboration
Maintain corporate visual merchandising directives and standards
Partner with visual merchandising team for clear communication
Partner with store management to achieve company standards and objectives
Focus staff on building quality relationships and repeat customer base
Complete daily/weekly store walkthroughs
Evaluate product performance, pricing, staff service levels, and inventory levels
Communicate with Store Manager to develop strategies to maximize business
Analyze store level reports and create action plans
Assist with manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring
Work with Store Manager to build bench strength for key positions
Participate in weekly management meetings
Clearly communicate sales goals and performance expectations to staff
Provide a great customer journey and achieve exemplary mystery shop results

Requirements:

Previous track record of supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand
Previous people management experience
Effective communication skills
Ability to collaborate and recognize contributions of others
Courage to give feedback that promotes positive behavioral change
Ability to adapt fast and work with pace
Energetic with a clear presence on the shop floor
'Can do' approach to issues
Ability to make informed decisions to find in-store solutions
