Job Description:

To support the Store manager with executing the store strategy, leading and developing a team of Customer Advisors to drive sales and high standards of customer service using the prescribed customer sales model. You will be an member of the team with excellent skills in operational governance. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to create a high performing team, by coaching and empowering others to fulfil operational requirements and achieve their performance targets.

Job Responsibility:

Support the Store manager with executing the store strategy
Lead and develop a team of Customer Advisors to drive sales and high standards of customer service
Collaborate with the Store Manager to create a high performing team
Coach and empower others to fulfil operational requirements and achieve their performance targets
Oversee the induction of new team members
Coach the store's team to meet and exceed store targets
Help support team with customer query escalations
Act as Store Manager when needed
Execute business initiatives in store to meet financial and customer key metrics
Motivate the team and foster an awesome store culture
Organise the store floor and team's work schedules to meet customer demand

Requirements:

Previous experience in a retail leadership/assistant management role
Ability to energise and drive a retail team to exceed sales targets and KPIs with demonstrated success
Ability to lead from the front and influence and build rapport with a diverse and varied team
Ability to resolve customer issues and problem solve creatively
Excellent communication skills
Ability to support the Store Manager in taking team members through change
