Job Description:

As the oldest Cornish pasty maker in the world, we pride ourselves on delivering delicious baked goods and brilliant customer service. We are now seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Slough Train Station for approx. 30 hours per week. This is one of our busier shops where there is always a buzz, perfect for those who love a fast-paced environment. Our Store operates seven days a week, opening at 05.30 and closing at 19.30 (approx). We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is available to work a variety of shifts during these hours including weekends. Please note that these hours are subject to change throughout the year and there may be the opportunity for more hours during our busier periods. Job Responsibility:

Exemplify brilliant customer service
Maintain our high standards in health, safety, and food hygiene
Develop sales by display and merchandising of stock, customer care, correct ordering of stock and efficient use of well-trained staff
Assist the manager in motivating and training the team to ensure our high standards are maintained at all times
Oversee daily store operations
Manage hiring, performance, scheduling, and task assignment for the team
Conduct regular audits to ensure functionality and presentation of the store

Requirements:

Previous supervisory/management experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
Must be 18+
