Job Description:

We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager for a 3 month fixed term contract to join our fashion store team in Hereford. Our stores are fast-paced and trade 7 days a week which means we require flexibility from our store teams to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. Due to the volume of collections, deliveries and donations, it can be physically demanding at times, yet most rewarding as you play a part in helping to fund life-saving research.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the Store Manager with the day to day running of the store and take full responsibility in their absence
  • Inspiring and supporting staff and volunteers
  • Ensuring highest standard of customer service
  • Achieving targets
  • Maintaining a high standard of visual merchandising
  • Maximising sales through physical and digital channels
  • Supporting with the recruitment and development of volunteers
  • Achieving expectations within campaign activities
  • Working with the manager to generate stock

Requirements:

  • Experience in a customer facing role
  • Supervisory experience
  • Commercially driven to encourage new ideas
  • Inclusive approach to developing teams
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and achieving the highest retail standards
  • Results driven but with a recognition of right result, right way
