Assistant Store Manager

• Supporting the Store Manager in leading and motivating the team to deliver excellent service and achieve sales targets
• Setting high standards for customer experience and ensuring these are consistently met
• Driving sales by coaching the team on product knowledge, selling techniques, and service excellence
• Overseeing merchandising standards to keep the store well-presented and commercially strong
• Assisting with staff training and development, helping the team grow their skills and knowledge
• Supporting inventory management including stock levels, restocking, and accuracy checks
• Overseeing cash handling procedures and store operations, including opening and closing duties
• Promoting a safe, compliant, and well-organised store environment
• Gathering customer feedback and sharing ideas to improve store performance
• Carrying out administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting as required

• Previous retail management or supervisory experience (cycling or sporting goods experience is a bonus)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Passionate about customer service with excellent communication skills
• Sales-driven, with experience meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Knowledge and enthusiasm for cycling products is highly desirable
• Organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Computer-literate and confident with administrative tasks
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and varied shifts in line with store hours
