Step up as an Assistant Store Manager at JD Sports. Lead with a customer-first approach, motivate your team to exceed targets, and ensure exceptional performance on the shop floor every day. Your mission is to lead with a customer-first mindset, deliver great in-store experiences and inspire your team to achieve this every day.

Job Responsibility:

  • Partner with the Store Manager
  • Oversee day-to-day store operations
  • Manage the team to achieve financial budgets and targets
  • Ensure visual merchandising excellence
  • Act as first point of contact for the team in the Store Manager's absence
  • Analyse data and reports to maximise sales and profitability
  • Prioritise time, tasks, and processes for best return on investment
  • Create a positive and motivating store environment
  • Nurture a strong and positive culture
  • Provide feedback, coaching, training, and recognition

Requirements:

  • Experience in retail operations

  • Availability to work Sunday to Thursday with varying shift times
  • Confirmed working rights in Australia (VEVO Check required)

  • Complete daily/weekly store walkthroughs
