Job Description:

Telstra is hiring for an Assistant Store Manager to join their Tweed City store on a Full-Time basis. As part of the role, candidates will support the Store Manager in leading a team of Customer Advisors to drive sales and deliver high standards of customer service. The role involves coaching and empowering team members, implementing business initiatives, resolving customer issues, and fostering a positive team environment. Job Responsibility:

Oversee the induction of new team members
coach the store’s team to meet and exceed store targets
support the team with customer query escalations
act as Store Manager when needed
execute business initiatives in store to meet financial and customer key metrics
lead and motivate the team to foster an awesome store culture
organise the store floor and team’s work schedules to meet customer demand

Requirements:

Previous experience in a retail leadership / assistant management role
ability to energise and drive a retail team to exceed sales targets and KPIs with demonstrated success
ability to lead from the front and influence and build rapport with a diverse and varied team
ability to resolve customer issues with creative problem solving
excellent communication skills to support the Store Manager in taking team members through change
