The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers
Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom
Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed
Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback on goal achievement, coaching/mentoring team members
Assist in the hiring process
Make sure telephone is answered according to company policy
Ensure all buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed in a timely manner
Utilize electronic outside purchase order ledger
Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed in an efficient and friendly manner
Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store
Ensure that Zipline messages are communicated, and Image Maker and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed
Make sure all team members are complying with company policies
Perform all store opening/closing duties
Assist the store manager in maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, computer hardware, in-store service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles
Requirements:
Sales Specialist Training
Assistant Manager Certification
RSS Certification
Nice to have:
Certified Parts Professional Certification
ASE Certification
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
