Assistant Spa Manager

• Oversee and support the day-to-day operations of the Spa, Fitness and Pool
• Manage and oversee all department areas (Spa Front Desk, Fitness Facilities, Pool Experience, Locker Rooms, Tranquility Lounges, Treatment Rooms, and Spa Retail)
• Interview and select job applicants
• Supervise, discipline and give performance evaluations for spa employees
• Foster positive employee morale
• Ensure Forbes 5 Star accolade is achieved each year
• Responsible for the administration of goods, requisitions, inventories, storage and cost effective usage of all department related products
• Responsible for scheduling, time off requests and future business schedule
• Oversee the operation of equipment and cleanliness in all spa areas
• Coordinate special requirements with Housekeeping, Laundry, and Engineering
• Effectively integrate the Spa with the Hotel operations
• Monitor the quality and timeliness of all communication generated by the Spa Department
• Monitor operating supply funds for the Department and generate necessary purchase requisitions
• Participate in regular staff meetings
• Create retail purchase orders
• Organize and facilitate monthly and quarterly retail inventory
• Comply with Four Seasons’ Work Rules and Standards of Conduct
• Keep the Spa Director informed about the department, all employees’ performance, and guests’ concerns and comments
• Participation with external events that represent the Spa Philosophy

• Thorough knowledge of Spa and wellness
• Excellent leadership skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Two to three years of previous employment in a related leadership position
