Job Description:

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, responsible for the supervision of all site personnel and assistance with daily cleaning and maintenance of rest area facilities and grounds.

Job Responsibility:

Supervises, manages, and directs Rest Area Attendants, Lead Attendants, and sub-contractors
Assists in the training of Site Staff
Acts as Supervisor in the absences of the Site Supervisor
Assit with creating and maintain employee work schedules
Is secondary emergency site contact for VDOT and USF Management
Actively looks to improve their site and works with their staff to coach them
Performs regular inspections of rest rooms and common areas for sanitation, cleanliness, order, malfunctioning equipment and safety
Cleans and maintains rest room buildings (interior and exterior) and all areas of the grounds
Performs minor maintenance of facilities such as changing light bulbs or filters
Identifies areas within the facility and grounds that need maintenance, repair, or replacement
Greets customers and assists them with any questions or concerns
Informs Site Supervisor of any hazardous environments and assists in correcting any issues
Creates a teamwork environment where mutual collaboration and idea sharing and problem solving from every level is encouraged
Ensures a safe working environment is established and maintained
Creates, opens and updates work orders with (Insight) as needed
Complete all required documentation and administrative tasks as needed on daily basis
Understands and is able to navigate basic computer programs such as Word, Excel, and Adobe
Promotes a culture of safety to reduce and/or eliminate accidents and injuries
Promotes a positive working environment where teamwork is the basis of all work performed
Performs job in a professional manner with a strong work ethic in an effort to “lead by example”
Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Ability to work with minimum supervision
Ability to lead, manage and direct employees
Must be computer literate (i.e. Microsoft Office)
Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the maintenance and/or repair of buildings or other structures
Ability to multi-task and complete assigned duties efficiently
Professional appearance and manner
Must be able to manage a variety of personality types without exhibiting stress

Nice to have:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of applicable OSHA standards
