We are hiring an Assistant Site Merchant for a top fashion company! The Assistant Digital Site Merchant will support the execution of product launches, site refreshes, and reporting deliverables to ensure that the brand is brought to life online in a way that inspires customers, accelerates conversion, and drives profitable growth. This role will be responsible for implementing effective merchandising strategies and leveraging data-driven insights to continuously elevate the customer experience. The Digital Assistant Site Merchant will partner closely with cross-functional teams in Merchandising, Marketing, Planning, Business Strategies, and Technology to deliver a seamless customer experience aligned with omni-channel strategies and brand priorities. Pay $25-35 based on experience. Hiring in NYC or Pittsburgh.
Job Responsibility:
Site & Product Execution: digital merchandising of specific product categories with high accuracy, including end-to-end product set up, category maintenance, navigation updates
Audit/QA of PDP’s (imagery, copy, creative), category pages, and shops
Own linking execution and maintenance of link libraries
Provide QA of site updates and on-call support for content pushes
Business Analytics & Insights: pull and organize daily/weekly site metrics
monitor daily and weekly product level and site KPI’s and translate into actionable insights
champion a customer-first approach
support competitive benchmarking
Cross-Functional Collaboration: collaborate with creative, site ops, and cross-functional teams for seasonal launches and site refreshes
partner with business strategy, site ops, & marketing teams
partner with marketing and SEO teams to optimize search-related traffic and site discoverability
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field
1–3 years of experience in digital merchandising, ecommerce, or omni merchandising
Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into insights and actions
Experience with ecommerce tools and reporting platforms (PIM, Browse, GA4, Tableau) a plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and deadline-driven
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Flexible to support off-hours production and business-critical site needs
Nice to have:
Experience with ecommerce tools and reporting platforms (PIM, Browse, GA4, Tableau)
