Job Description:

An Assistant Site Manager is required to oversee the construction of a residential building in South West London. The scheme, valued at circa £8m, consists of a new RC frame building currently at the 1st fix internals stage. The role involves managing the on-site construction process, site labour and sub-contractors, the programme schedule, and compliance with health and safety regulations. This is a temp to perm or freelance role.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure smooth on-site construction process
manage all site labour and sub-contractors
manage programme and minimise/eliminate potential delays
ensure compliance with H&S requirements and regulations.

Requirements:

Engineering, construction management, or trades background
experience managing projects similar to residential construction valued at approximately £8m
experience with residential fit-out and finishing packages
strong understanding of health and safety requirements and regulations
relevant qualifications and tickets such as CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Nice to have:

Experience managing 1st fix internals stage construction projects
ability to work in a busy construction environment
proven experience working to tight deadlines.
