Job Description:

Assistant Site Manager for a significant residential development in Herne Bay, supporting the delivery of a high-quality, large-scale housing project. The role reports directly to the Senior Site Manager and focuses on ensuring the production process runs smoothly from groundworks through to final CML handovers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Monitoring progress against the build program to ensure milestones are met on time
  • Conducting thorough inspections at every stage (Pre-Plaster, Pre-Paint, etc.) to maintain high standards
  • Leading by example to ensure the site is a safe environment for all sub-contractors and visitors
  • Coordinating various trades to ensure a seamless workflow
  • Assisting with home demonstrations and ensuring every home is 'snag-free' for its new owners

Requirements:

  • Proven track record working for a large volume housebuilder
  • Must hold a valid CSCS Card (Supervisory)
  • Must hold SMSTS certification
  • Must hold First Aid at Work certification
  • Ideally based within a commutable distance of Herne Bay
  • Understands the local sub-contractor landscape
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK
