Job Responsibility

EHCP Management: Oversee the application and annual review process for all Education, Health and Care Plans
Staff Mentorship: Provide high-quality professional development and "quality first teaching" strategies to classroom teachers
Data Analysis: Rigorously track the progress of students with SEND, identifying gaps and implementing rapid interventions
Agency Liaison: Coordinate with external professionals, including educational psychologists, speech therapists, and health services
Parental Partnership: Serve as the primary point of contact for families, ensuring transparent and supportive communication
Resource Allocation: Manage the SEND budget and deploy Teaching Assistants effectively to maximise student impact
Compliance: Ensure the school meets all statutory requirements under the SEND Code of Practice
Transition Planning: Lead the smooth transition of SEND students from Primary school and into Post-16 pathways
Inclusive Culture: Promote a whole-school ethos where inclusion is everyone's responsibility

Job Responsibility
